The location was great. I found the hotel cute with a well-sited large conservatory. It also featured games and local maps plus guides. The conservatory offers a grandstand view of visiting badgers.

I did not see any staff apart from a cleaner very briefly. Breakfast was offered at a local cafe with a 10% discount. There were no options on site, though the place did not feel very cute as no one was around.

richard was a great host and the location was amazing i could walk to the lake easily and the views were fine the room was well-equipped throughout and had lots of useful information about the area i really loved the access to the large garden

a decent place to stay

private access lake shore serene moment dog smell lake view hedge trimming

the location is really unbeatable with its proximity to the lake. i found the private access to the lake to be a wonderful perk. a morning walk to the lake shore allowed me to listen to the birds and enjoy a serene moment.

I noticed a slight smell of dogs, which might bother some guests. also, my room lacked a promised lake view, disappointing. there was also noise from hedge trimming at 8 am. I found it quite disruptive.

badgers at dusk

lovely view kitchen area great location

a lovely view are seen through my window. i could watch badgers eat treats left just for them, what an exciting experience. the kitchen area contains everything i wanted, that helped a lot. the location felt perfect, especially for dog owners.

the path down to the lake seemed overgrown, maybe someone should trim the bushes.
